Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to lead recruiting efforts across our AI/ML engineering organization. This role will focus on hiring exceptional engineers and research engineers across several core areas, including large-scale systems, edge and consumer AI, kernels optimization, and post-training platform.

You will help build and scale the engineering organization from the ground up, owning recruiting strategy, candidate sourcing, pipeline management, and hiring operations. This role requires someone who can effectively engage highly technical candidates, communicate the company’s vision and technical direction, and partner closely with engineering leadership to execute against aggressive hiring goals.

Responsibilities

You will lead recruiting efforts for AI/ML engineering and research roles across the organization. Core responsibilities include:

  • Leading end-to-end recruiting processes for AI/ML engineering and research hiring
  • Building pipelines for highly technical roles across systems, infrastructure, kernels, multimodal AI, and post-training platform
  • Partnering closely with engineering leadership to understand hiring priorities, organizational needs, and team growth plans
  • Developing sourcing strategies to identify and engage exceptional candidates across industry, research, and open-source communities
  • Managing candidate experience throughout the hiring process, including outreach, screening, coordination, and closing
  • Helping design scalable recruiting processes, tooling, and operational workflows appropriate for a fast-growing startup
  • Leveraging AI tools and automation to improve recruiting efficiency, candidate tracking, and pipeline management
  • Representing the company across recruiting channels, technical communities, conferences, and networking opportunities

Basic Qualifications

You bring strong recruiting experience and the ability to operate effectively in highly technical environments:

  • 5–8+ years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably within AI/ML, infrastructure, or high-growth technology organizations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience recruiting for highly technical engineering or research roles
  • Ability to understand technical concepts well enough to effectively engage and evaluate AI/ML engineering candidates
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes from sourcing through offer negotiation and closing
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple hiring pipelines simultaneously
  • Ability to work closely with engineering teams and hiring managers in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

You have additional experience aligned with scaling technical organizations and AI-focused recruiting:

  • Experience recruiting for AI research labs, AI startups, or high-performance infrastructure teams
  • Familiarity with modern AI/ML systems, distributed systems, or infrastructure engineering roles
  • Experience building recruiting operations or hiring processes within early-stage or rapidly growing startups
  • Familiarity with recruiting tools, sourcing workflows, and AI-assisted recruiting systems
  • Existing network within AI/ML engineering, research, or open-source communities
  • Experience helping scale engineering organizations through periods of rapid growth
